![]() ![]() I'll start off by saying that the MGM Springfield is visually appealing (because it's brand new) but it lacks what Indian Casino's have been doing for decades. Once we arrived to the room we realized it was a handicap accessible room which was fine except for the shower not having a door so water got all over the floor. Again - not one person apologized for the inconvenience or making us feel like we were annoying them when in reality it is their job! Thankfully my boyfriend had the confirmation number in his e-mail. Without apology or transition, a different woman took care of checking us in. She was almost robotic like in the way she repeated the same comment instead of listening that I did NOT book through a third party, but did, in fact, book through their own website. When I explained it was booked only a few hours ago a young (not so intelligent) female front desk employee talked in circles that booking through a third party doesn't guarantee your reservation for at least 24 hours. I booked the hotel through the MGM Springfield website at 4 pm, we arrived at 8 pm and they couldn't find our reservation. ![]() The fee for valet parking is $28 which is absurd in itself and if you are staying in the hotel there isn't any discount - it should be free to hotel customers at the very least. ![]()
